Tip #6 : For active Twitter users, don’t send all of your status updates from Twitter to LinkedIn. Change your settings on how your connections are notified when your status is updated, because too much of status updates may annoy your connections.

Tip #7 : Turn on Public Profile Settings in order for your Profile to appear in the member directory and to be found on search engines.

Tip #8 : To avoid redundancy (creating duplicate profile) register all your email addresses with LinkedIn, because you can’t merge LinkedIn accounts.

Tip #9 : When you close your account, please note these:

  • Once you close the account you cannot use any of the connections on LinkedIn, so export connections
  • Rate and close questions if any asked
  • Close discussions

Tip #10 : Make your profile seen by involving in various activities like Q&A, posts, discussions, polls, etc.,
